This wing of the Helen DeVos Children’s hospital serves families of children receiving care for life-threatening blood disorders and cancer. 
Through the hospital’s foundation “Wish Gift Program”, donors purchase tangible items that the department and programs need.  These items support and bring comfort to the patients and make a difference in the lives of the patients and their families.
Items that are gratefully appreciated include: iTunes gift cards, movie passes and gift cards to Meijer, Target or any fast-food restaurants.  In addition; snacks, pre-packaged to include oatmeal, microwaveable meals, granola bars, drink mixes, candy, chips, sandwich crackers, fruit snacks and cookies are in high demand and always diminishing.

As P.O.R.T. nears its 25^th anniversary, our W. Michigan community continues to embrace our pediatric patients and their families by giving time, funds and tangible donations.  “P.O.R.T.’s history is rich with love, compassion and generosity”.
