Franklin Partners, a Chicago based investment group have had a presence in W. Michigan since 2003.  They have discovered what we here in the Grand Rapids area already know:  that Grand Rapids is a great place to live, work and play.  Most recently Franklin Partners has been in the news due to their two major sales in down town Grand Rapids; the 99 Monroe and 25 Ottawa, SW, properties.

What’s next? 

Aside from offers to purchase other undisclosed locations of other commercial properties in down town, Franklin Partners is gearing up to share their plans on two historic sites they own:  The Keeler Building at 56 N. Division and Display Pack Inc., 1340 Monroe, NW.
The Keeler site will include gutting the 7 story structure, built 102 years ago, installing new mechanical systems, windows and new interior walls.  Currently it is proposed to offer office space and main level retail sales. The Display Pack, Monroe location, could offer our down town area some rental relief, with the possibility of up to 200 apartments:
