The Grand Rapids city commission is is considering a rezoning request made by Orion Construction & Artesian Group, at their April 12th 2016 meeting.  At the center of the discussion was a proposed condominium project, with the prospect of 32 to 39 new units that would become available for purchase.  The 1.1 acre site, on Coit Street, between Trowbridge & Fairbanks Streets, would be called “Coit Square” and 11 currently existing homes would be razed to accommodate the new condominiums and their parking garages.

The proposed purchase prices will range from the low $200,000 range up to mid $300,000 range offering two & three bedroom units.  Association fees are estimated between $170 & $195 per unit per month.
