CASCADE TOWNSHIP may soon be the recipient of growth, a new Michigan-based company headquarters AND possibly 670 new jobs!?

The rumor goes like this:

Two West Michigan companies, Rockford Construction and The Hinman Company, aka Glenwood Development Partners, reported to Cascade Township that they are in negotiations with a global corporation, rated as one of the top ten “professional firms” of its kind worldwide.  Glenwood Development is exploring a proposed 4-story 136,000-square-foot, to-be-built building, to be leased by this mystery business.
Glenwood is currently in the process of submitting materials to the township’s community development director as there has been no formal approval currently. The building spot is located in the Kraft Avenue corridor, 5526 Glenwood Hills Parkway, SE, approximately a 7 acre site, and construction would include a one-story parking garage with 670 parking spaces.
