The mission of Blandford Nature Center is to educate, engage and empower our community to become stewards of the natural world that sustains us…. The vision is to invigorate relationships with nature that lead individuals to transform their community and create a healthy, sustainable world.
Blandford Nature is located at 1715 Hillburn Avenue, NW, Grand Rapids, Michigan. The 143 acre site is leased from the City of Grand Rapids. The land is used for community programs and to provide quality environmental education.
The Blandford Nature Center has trails for skiing and snowshoeing during their winter months. Regular hours are: Open Monday through Friday, 9AM to 5PM and Saturdays, noon to 5PM. Members enjoy free admission, non-members pay $3.00. Snowshoe rentals are $5.00 for members and $6.00 for non-members.
