After the demise of the Beltline Drive-In Theater, 50 years ago, the drive-in site has been utilized as a weekly flea market, which now will be ending on July 28.  The 457 booths were mostly filled, and the vendors have enjoyed busy weekends due to the popularity of their bargain-hunting customers.  The 13-acre lot is under contract now, however the purchaser has not been disclosed.
This information will be available once the property has changed hands.  It is looking positive for continued new development, and hopefully more new jobs too!
